Tempature based werewolves? Seriously?!! It was a ridiculous premise and I'm already willing to go along with werewolves. How can someone make werewolves unbelievable!!!
Aside from the temperature thing, I found the love story freakishly obsessive and insipid.
And what is the deal with eyes? I barely notice people's eyes,even when they're pretty or weird. They're just eyes. Now hands, that's an important part of a person.

This book practically tore me in two with it's beauty and also it's ability to be completely frustrating. While the words in it were incredibly lyrical and poetic in nature the story line lacked any real 'get up and go.' I felt like the novel itself stalled hard in the middle and then picked up heavy in the last couple of chapters. The love story between Sam and Grace which is what the entire book is about felt like it could have easily ended with the ending of the novel. This book doesn't end i ...more
