3.5 stars - There was a really good world building to this erotic romance - the leads are demons and there is a soul mate connection but the connection is not necessarily romantic- so not one of those 'done deal' kind of things where the leads don't have to work for it at all. The leads Knox and Harper were really great. He's powerful, dark and intense and she's no pushover either - smart, resourceful, forthright, and powerful in her own understated way. Novel 3.5 stars, Audible narration 2.5 stars
I listened to the audible edition of this novel. The story was quite good, but the narration was a bit grating and did not fit the female protagonist very well at all. Also most of the character voices seemed interchangeable, which made it difficult to follow conversation with multiple characters sometimes.
For a 'dominant' character I found 'Harper' didn't give 'Knox' as much of a run for his money as say Taryn did Trey in Feral Sins, the first of the ...more

LOVE IT. I love the main characters and the kickass heroine. If you into lots of sexy scenes this is the book for you.
Loved this first book in the series! Highly recommend!!!!!
