This is one of my first reviews, so I apologize if it's terrible or too short.
As mentioned in my update, I attempted to read this book when the TV show first came out. I could not get past the first chapter, and I almost gave up this time.
This book is poorly written and Sookie, the main character, is annoying and boring. I am a fan of the television show and I've always slightly disliked Sookie. I mistakenly blamed Anna Paquin, but now I see that she plays the character really well. Sookie come ...more
