I'd come across this series multiple times, but wrote it off because it was tagged "time-travel". I don't really like time travel books. Then I saw it was read by my book group before I had joined and was given very good reviews. A few of the ladies and I share similar tastes, and they liked it too, so I thought I'd give it a chance.

I really couldn't get into this book. There were some great scenes and I liked the overall story but the story dragged and I started calling it 'the story that never ends'. I'm disappointed that so many people loved it while I could not.
