You feel like you are seeing someone’s soul laid bare, and I can’t commend Roxane Gay enough for allowing readers to see her in such a vulnerable and real way.
I listened to the audio as read by the author - what a privilege. So amazing to have Roxane reading it, really made it pack a punch.
