I love this book so much. The setting, characters, and subject matter work together so well to create a story with humor, adventure, and heart in just the right doses. Telgemeier has a gift for dealing with serious subjects in a way that doesn't minimize them but is also entirely appropriate for her audience. This is her best work yet.

I couldn't wait to read this newest graphic novel from Raina Telgemeier it did not disappoint. It tells the story of two sisters, Cat and Maya, who are moving to Bahía de la Luna in Northern coastal California for a better climate for Maya's cystic fibrosis. The book chronicles their adjustment there as they learn that it's also a town of spirits. I loved how this book was multi-layered from the sisters' bond, Maya's illness, the paranormal, and Hispanic culture. It was also a timely release wit
