I wanted to enjoy this more than I did, but frankly the abrupt ending ruined the book for me. Also, I kept looking for sketches, although I know they don't exist. The book had potential, it just failed to achieve it. I am very familiar with the story of the Dionne quintuplets, this book is supposed to be a fictionalized journaling of a nurse present during the early years of their lives. The actual plot was interesting and I thought did a decent job of retelling the events as they potentially happened and how the people around the quints may have felt in those moments.
