I might be the perfect reader profile for this book. Let's see...

- Is just a tad pretentious
- Has probably read more Victorian books than 95% of living population
- Appreciates clever blending of history and historically-accurate folklore, especially a Queen Mab any real Elizabethan would recognize
- Recently read a book about Margaret Cavendish, thus read most of this through a fangirly Margaret Cavendish lens

Full of cool ideas, but it was rather slow getting to the actual plot.
