1st time read 9/2018.... 4 🌟
Jane is out for revenge by any means to revenge her friend's death.
Steven isn't a good guy but he thinks he is the s*** omg.
To read from Jane's mind was sometime funny weird with her sickness sense of humor at times.
I enjoyed. Love to read more from this author.

Had to reread before book 2 comes out. ...more

Really feminist. Has a bit too much commentary -allow me to get to that opinion too. Simply written, linear storytelling - fast read on revenge and the POV of a sociopath.

Audiobook. Excellent performance. I couldn't wait to continue listening! Good story, too. Not much of a thriller, more of a revenge story, but what a revenge story it is. Protagonist is a sociopath and that is always fun.

The repetitive obnoxiousness of Stephen got grating after a while, but I suppose that is the point. And even so, both he and his repellent father were realistic portrayals of a certain kind of man. ...more
