A fabulous read aloud for my Grade 3 class. The children were enthralled with the book and the character. Loved it myself and I have reread it several times.
I loved this book. I sat down in the book store one night to look at it and I ended up reading the whole thing in two hours. I liked it as much as Harry Potter. I am telling everyone I know about this book because it is so simple and so wonderful to read. I left the store with a huge grin on my face.
Such a strange little book. I read this for the Read Harder (a book you know nothing about based solely on the cover) and the Around the Year (a book with an unusually large version of an animal in the story) challenges.
