What Members Thought
A good and important story, as these stories of survivors must continue to be told, but I was not a big fan of the writing style. It was very simplistic to me.
If this was not centered on real people, it would be completely unbelievable. I have read MANY WWII/Holocaust-related books. This one is unique in the unbelievably good fortune that Lale experiences in his three years of imprisonment.
