This book took me about two weeks to read. I've always wanted to read it but it's length kind of scared me away. But the new television movie gave me reason to finally pick it up. I was surprised to find myself very engrossed with the story. I know there is controversy around this novel via plagiarism. But I found myself not caring and read it for what it was.. A good story. I listened to this book in the car. It was a very good choice since the story was handed down in the oral tradition.
