I expected to love this book, but I was really disappointed. As I read, I went from 5 star expectations, to 3 star ... to 2 star ... and finally down to 1 star. Good choice for Reese Witherspoon's book club.
If this wasn't my second read with a Romeo-and-Juliet-in-dual-timelines theme this year, I might have rated this higher; however, Shadow of the Wind was superior.
