Agatha Christie excels again. Set in a Hotel on an island in the South of England which is accessible only when not covered by the tide. A young woman is murdered whilst Poirot is visiting. There are plenty of suspects but all seem to have strong alibis. Like, many Poirot mysteries the Police seem to leap rapidly to the wrong conclusions ignoring the movement of Poirot's little grey cells. There are some interesting twists and turns but it is one of the more obvious of this author's mysteries

I enjoyed this one about the actress being strangled on the beach while Poirot is on holiday. The ending was not at all what I expected, she got me good on this one! I completely fell for the red herring. I love Christie's books and was going to follow along on a readalong from a booktuber but have to join Discord to do it and I'm just not willing to add another social media platform to my day so I think I'll create my own read-along and read them in publication order.
