Written with a fabulous sense of humor. A great read for both kids and adults.

I love how this is getting deeper than I first thought when I started this series. Lemony Snicket is not just a marketing scheme, he's actually in that world. I'm just enjoying peeling back the layers and learning more information.

I’m glad Snicket’s continued to shake up the pattern of events in the book. The end of this one was the best cliffhanger yet.
Lots of good drama, some very silly solutions to very serious situations, and some killer stilettos.
