The girl who originally recommended the Persepolis books to me told me that the second one wasn't as good as the first (which kept me from being motivated to read the second, but when I found out the new Persepolis movie covers both books, well . . . I recommend this book, and it's predecessor, to everyone. I loved it. Satrapi tells her story with honesty and humor. Gave me all the feels.

I lasted 30 pages. I have low patience for bratty teenagers, much less those who see microagressions everywhere yet judge everyone at the same time.
