Shelves: contemporary-fiction, love-story-romance, read-2010, adult-fiction, urban-fantasy-paranormal, borrowed-and-returned, beautiful-writing, male-point-of-view, magical-realism
The writing is beautiful (4 stars), but the story is too sad and the characters are too disturbing for my taste (2 stars). But I believe, if you like tragic stories with inhibited, morbid characters and a cold, monochrome landscape paired with some paranormal elements and a little mystic sprinkling on top, you will rate this even 4 stars.
