Dr. Krietzer develops a psychological profile of a serial killer in 1897 New York City. I like the historical details of setting and police corruption of the time. This is also a good description of how profiling is done and works.
I was disappointed to find out at the end that this is an abridged audio book. I wonder what I missed.

Really not a fan of dark themes involving kids and definitely would have gotten a better rating from me if it had a different focus. But the writing was interesting, the setting and historic elements fascinating, and the characters memorable.
