What Members Thought
This short collection of chronologically-shuffled vignettes veers more closely to poetry, perhaps, than a novel. There's a story to be told here, in the way old photo albums tell stories: with images, brief captions, and an assumption that you will make the further connections yourself. This reminded me a lot of The Buddha in the Attic, in both structure and its general melancholic vibe.
