Trish
Well this is an odd collection, and definitely not blood and gore horror, but more psychological thriller . In some of the stories she plays psychological games, some are creepy, some are odd, some are disorienting and disassociating, and some are just short stories. Definitely some recurring themes though, and a confusing number of James Harrises!

It's probably just as well The Lottery was the last story, though - if it had been earlier, I probably wouldn't have finished the book.
