This book is going to stick with me in one of those haunting, disturbing ways. There was not one redeeming quality in any of the sociopathic characters. I was attracted to read this book by the concept of the story being told through the courses of one dinner. It does make you question the lengths you would go to for your children. I imagine it would make for a fantastic book club discussion...

This was a book that i thought took far too long to get off the ground - over a third of the way through before getting to the real issues. However it was subtly menacing and disturbing. The author brought it all together in the end.
