Wyrd Sisters has been my favorite Discworld novel thus far. It parodies Shakespeare, including elements of many of his plays and his life. Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick are witches in the kingdom of Lancre. One evening the King of Lancre is murdered by the evil duke and his vicious wife.
