This book really would have resonated with me back when I was planning my own wedding and in the first couple years of my marriage -- I related to some the internal crises of a feminist entering into a traditional role, a sort of indifference to the trappings of weddings until you find yourself planning one of your own, and the sense of overwhelm that comes with all the little details.
