I am unsure about this one. On the one hand it is a well constructed pacey read with plenty of action, on the other a lot of that action is repetitive. Crouch is my go-to author if I am looking for a trippy, bend reality, or in this case, alternate reality, story. This one starts of rocky, as the main character, Jason, is presented as a brilliant scientist. However he spend the first chapters acting so moronic, that I almost stopped reading. I’m glad I stayed with it, cause this story is so wacky , I easily forgave the less than stellar beginning. 4/5

4.5 stars only because I didn't like how it ended. I wanted to SEE what they did. I hope they turn this into a movie. I can definitely see this as a movie. A bit trippy, but definitely a good one.
