Fun book, enjoyable for both of us. :) Quick read, and there is an annoying bit of not having chapters, so finding a place to stop if you're reading it in multiple sittings is a pain. Today, I was sick. My body didn't wanna sleep but my eyes didn't wanna open so an audiobook was perfect.
This was a great adventure with a good framing device.
Note to future self: read the illustrated book by Chris R based on a good review.

Cute and I like the illustrations. I think kids would enjoy this short and sweet story, but somehow I was missing something. I guess I was just expecting a bit more from the Gaiman master!

Absolutely adorable wild tale told by a father to his children. Obviously if you already like Neil Gaiman this is worth the quick read.

Quick and fun read. Gaiman at his best!

3 1/2 stars -- cute, fun, but geared more towards smaller children than some of his others.

This book is really silly and my daughter loved it. The pictures are really fun and the story is trippy and silly. Fun quick read!

This is definitely Gaiman-lite, but it's still great fun. The plot is Dahlian, the visuals are Seussian, and the denouement is right out of The Usual Suspects. ...more
