Did Not Finish.
I really hate to give up on yet another book, but I didn't anything very entertaining here. I read nearly 1/3 of it and it's certainly readable and isn't bad, it's just not very good either. This is my fourth Nesbo (I've liked one and thought the other two were okay) and I feel like there's something about his writing that just doesn't translate very well. A great stand-alone novel by the creator of the Norwegian Harry Hole series. There's a bit of misdirection going on in this book, which I didn't mind once it was revealed, but which made me wonder where the book was going for a while. Although there seems to be no doubt about who the criminals are and what crimes they have perpetrated, beware, for all it not necessarily what it seems!
