Solid book, and solid wrap-up to the Patrick Kenzie/Angie Gennaro series. This book returns to the case from Gone Baby Gone (you may remember the movie). I was in a classics mood, but there was a pathetic selection at the SV Branch Library, so I picked up this book. Since I'd read Gone, Baby, Gone a couple years ago I was already familiar with many of the characters. Lehane is a good mystery writer and he doesn't always do the expected, which I appreciate. ...more

Not bad - I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had of read the earlier books in the series - I didn't realise it was as series until after I started reading. ...more
