I have over-indulged. I thought I'd take some time over a week off to meander through the last book of Harry Potter, but nooo, couldn't stop, could I? Had to read the whole blasted thing in 2 days, didn't I? Well, now my head hurts, and I've got no one to blame but myself (and maybe J.K. Rowling, a bit). The dumbest part of my binge reading was that this was a reread! I knew what was going to happen! Well, at least in theory, I did. I had forgotten most of the book. (view spoiler)

I skipped a few books in the series... but when I saw the trailer for the 7th movie looked darker...I knew I wanted to read this BEFORE the movie. As a matter of pure pop culture interest I had to see what happens to Harry, Hermoine and Ron

What a wonderful end to the series. I was surprised at how it began, though as the story developed I know why we needed the earlier info. Once Harry and others got back to Hogwarts, it progressed more like I had expected it to. I can't wait to go back and reread the whole series. Also, Neville's still my favorite! :)

FANTASTIC! Everything I hoped it would be and tied up enough loose ends to leave me completely satisfied. Funny, adventurous, heart melting and heart breaking. I don't know how she kept track of all those details, but a fine, fine finish.
