This broke my heart. It was an intensely emotional view of Alzheimer's from inside the brain of a person who'd been afflicted by the disease. Having witnessed my grandfather struggle with Alzheimer's at the end of his life, I immediately connected to this book on a personal level and easily could have read this in one sitting if real life had permitted it.

I liked the perspective that the author chose to tell this story. I can recognize the difficulties she had with her memory as something one of my family members went through in the initial stages of recovering from a mTBI. In our situation, improvement was achieved. And it made me that much sadder about the main character suffering losses that would continue and would not improve.
