This was another book club read for my library book club. This one I did enjoy and was trying to figure out who committed the murder. As the story progresses and you get to know all the characters. I know some of them could be annoying.

Madeline brought a smile to my face many times. Celeste is perfect, or is she. Then you have Jane the newest single mom to the area, who doesn't seem to eat anything. The bonds that are formed between these women is one that we all desire and hope to have. ...more

Shelves: contemporary, 2017, mystery-thriller

I've really enjoyed all Liane Moriarty's books, but this one was a 5 star for me. For a 5 star, it has to pull at my emotions - and it did. I also stayed up way too late reading to try to find out what exactly happened.

It's not really chick lit and it's not a true mystery (in that you have a body and need to know whodunnit). There is a body but we don't even know whose body it is until near the end. I'd call it light contemporary that is easy reading but makes you think and has a twist to it.
