I really enjoyed this one, it's light, fun, fast paced the pages just fly.
I thought this was going to be my first thriller, but I was mistaken, like many have said this is just like desperate housewives, gossip, intrigue and secrets between a group the mothers of the kindergarten class in an affluent suburban setting.
I had minor issues with the book, how everyone felt the need to protect one character, and the sides in the "war" were over the top and hilarious, but it didn't tak ...more

A friend handed me this book and told me I should read it. I'm not sure why, but I wonder.
The book was good and I liked the structure style with the interviews at the ends of the chapters moving the interest in the mystery along even when it wasn't really happening yet.
I can't say whether the setting of the community and school were realistic, but the relationships between husbands and wives and exes were too real for me and they made it a little hard for me to read.

A fictional drama about relationships, families and friendships that is cleverly written and rings true on so many levels. Loved this book.
I liked this book but it felt like it took to long to get where it was going. The characters were tropes of the types of moms you see when your kids start entering school or social environments. I felt bad for most of the kids through the whole book. I felt like certain topics weren't handled seriously enough. The ending was fast paced and great but I felt myself getting distracted while reading a lot.
