So.. so... so good!!!
Basically the only reason I read this book was because I saw the trailer for the tv series and wanted to know the story before watching it.
And I'm glad I read it!
Despite being pretty predictable (I guess everything except who died), I thoroughly enjoyed the book. As it was speeding towards the conclusion, I found myself stressing out trying to figure out who died! I was tempted to skip ahead just to find out, but I was glad I didn't.

I really enjoyed this book. It started off light and humorous and I thought it was going to be chick lit, which was fine with me actually. It slowly morphed into a more serious book that dealt with many of the issues that women have to deal with these days - growing up, relationships, being a mother, being a stay-at-home mom vs a working mom, date rape, domestic violence, being judged for appearances, etc.
