The writing is simple and some parts of the book explore the theme of philosophy just like Amish's other books. Overall the focus of the book is on women power.
He has beautifully and intricately sewn small beads of contemporary societal concerns and issues within his story. There are lessons on equality, anecdotes of wisdom and issues about women's rights.

There are good quotes in the book, my favorite one is "You will need to be mature and pragmatic. You must use your heart to decide the destin

Retelling an epic that is already well known - Amish is a master at it. And in this book, we encounter the story of Sita with all characters that we already know with a slight twist to suit the author's plot. The discussions done on administration & governance between the lead characters give some solutions to modern-day problems. The plot and the sequencing was nice. Although repetition of the last part could be shortened more. The idea behind the Ram Chandra series is appreciating but if each part will have a repetitive ending, it mind lead some readers to skip the part and rush to the end. Otherwise it was a good read and quite gripping. The story of Sita as a princess warrior was more interesting than the story of Ram. Now after reading this, I am eagerly waiting for the Ravaan part.

This second book of the Ramchandra series follows Sita`s story- in parallel to Ram`s life story. At the end of first book, Amish hints that Sita could be Vishnu and this book tells us how she comes to be chosen as the Vishnu by the Malayaputras. It ties some loose threads from the first book. Didn't meet my expectation!

I died finishing this one. Just like the Vayuputras, this one too was unnecessarily detailed beyond patience. It was clear from the start about Samichi. No suspense not interest. No more @Amish Tripathi
