The writing is simple and some parts of the book explore the theme of philosophy just like Amish's other books. Overall the focus of the book is on women power.
He has beautifully and intricately sewn small beads of contemporary societal concerns and issues within his story. There are lessons on equality, anecdotes of wisdom and issues about women's rights.

The plot and the sequencing was nice. Although repetition of the last part could be shortened more. The idea behind the Ram Chandra series is appreciating but if each part will have a repetitive ending, it mind lead some readers to skip the part and rush to the end. Otherwise it was a good read and quite gripping. The story of Sita as a princess warrior was more interesting than the story of Ram. Now after reading this, I am eagerly waiting for the Ravaan part.

This second book of the Ramchandra series follows Sita`s story- in parallel to Ram`s life story. Didn't meet my expectation! ...more
