Through out this book I was like a zombie. At school my friends could barely take me away from it, at home my parents had to yell at me to put it down and do my home work...but I almost never listened. The series for me was an adventure, and it was like saying good bye to a best friend or even a family member. When Sebastien died, I cried. I cried because I always believed somewhere inside him he had some sort of goodness...and I was right...just not enough to live on.

I loved this book! This book was really good! I really really liked it!! I loved the ending! This is definitely one my favorite yang adult book series!
First of all, the storyline was interesting and I didn’t expect what happened with Sebastian and how they befitted him. I was pleasantly surprised by what happened; although I thought it was a little quick these scenes could have been a little longer….I thought that particular scene was cut a bit short! I also would have liked to see more about M I loved this book! This book was really good! I really really liked it!! I loved the ending! This is definitely one my favorite yang adult book series!

I also would have liked to see more about Magnus father! (I hope we see more of him in future books maybe?????). Also, the ending of this book I thought was really good. I really liked what happened to Simon (although it got me worried for a while…), and the reaction of Isabel. I also liked what happened between Alec and Magnus! I thought it was romantic, realistic and without being overly written! Finally what I really loved was how the story of the Infernal Devices series and The Bane Chronicles gets incorporated in the current storyline; I thought that was really smart and really well done! (It makes you want o go back and reread all three series of books all over again!!!!!!)
I loved the multiple POV’s! I liked the fact that this book wasn’t about just Clary and Jace but we saw the story progressing through the eyes of secondary characters! I really liked that because although Clary is a really strong character and can stand on her own, she still kicks serious ass, but she is not the only one interesting in this book! The other characters are also powerful and different from each other and seeing the story from their point of view was what the book needed to make it really great!! What I really liked was how much the characters have developed and evolved throughout the books. I especially liked Alec in this book and how he finally accepted himself and how he became strong and confident in the end. It was really enjoyable to read and I liked the fact that he stand for himself to his father and Jace! We also see new characters in this book! That was a really pleasant surprise which I enjoyed very much! I really liked the Carstairs and the Blackhorns!
Overall, I loved this book as much as the previous ones! I think Cassanda Clare does an amazing job as writer, and I can’t wait for the next series which takes place five years after the end of this book, and tells the story of Emma Carstairs!
(P.S.: We need more Magnus Bane stories!!!! 10 small stories are NOT enough!!!He has way more to give than that......)

I saw this photo saying "City of Heavenly Fire: AKA city of I'm going to drown in my fucking tears"

SO TRUE. I WAS FREAKING CRYING THROUGH AN HOUR OF IT.
My heart, Omg I was about to scream in misery...
But it was a beautifully written book. 5 out of 5 stars.
Great emotions, great plot, good ending, and I can't wait to start the Infernal Devices after I finish this review ...more
