DeCamillo is just so brilliant at beautiful, sad stories with unique and interesting characters... With great names! Beautifully written story for middle grade readers. I loved the vocabulary, the simplicity of the story, but mostly how much heart the author put into this love story. Because “all stories are love stories.”
