sooooo LOVED this book!
Maybe I am just parital to cyber-punk, but a lot of times it is not done well. Pirates, the mafia, drugs, virtual reality, viruses and religion are just a few of the topics explored in this novel. Given that this is a 1992 cyberpunk book, the book is still very imaginative. The story is visually immersive in a way that you are always in the moment. A very thrilling book, probably inspired by “Blade Runner” in its setting. It’s funny as well which gives a lot of comic effect.

The story has a big influence in modern technology and media. It will be amazing if you read the book now and find out that many of the cyberpunk technologies mentioned in the book have a presence in our life.

I liked it and I didn't.
This book had moments of greatness equal to moments of "meh". I feel like he's a good writer because when I got to the parts that I enjoyed there was no prying this book out of my hands. However, I feel like he wandered around a bit with extra details I don't think added much to the story. I attribute the "mehness" mainly to the fact that this is probably the second book I've read in the cyberpunk subgenre. I can see why people enjoy his work and this is certainly worth
