Narration was great! Jonathan Davis was excellent and he definitely added to the story.
While this is not the oddest story I've read by Stephenson, it was a hoot! Lots of enthusiasm was thrown into this odd cyberpunk, adventure story.
I was entertained from start to finish. There are rough patches and plot holes but they did not detract too much from the hyper-active dive to save--you'll find out when you read the story. =) ...more

So imaginative and promising...yet, so fatally flawed.: Entertaining? Yes. Wildly creative and imaginative? No question. Flawed? Sadly yes, and fatally.
Read this as a carnival ride and you won't be disappointed, but think about it very much, or slow down long enough to consider what's being flipped at you, and you'll find it terribly dissatisfying in several ways.

this is one hell of a weird book but not in the Philip K Dick sense of weird, i think i need a re-read of this in a year or so so i can actually write a review.
It starts off with a pizza delivery boy who is also a ninja and the world's best swordsman. he has trouble delivering the pizza's so a fellow delivery girl called YT does it for him.
it then goes onto explain that in the read world there are no laws and the USA is broken up into, in not sure what to call it, but the MAFIA own a part, th ...more
