I liked this book because it provided a different view of the immigration issue. It made me wonder how much of a problem it is for these villages that so many men have gone north. Are there many that would want to return if given the chance? Would there be jobs waiting for them now if they returned? Could/should this be incorporated into political/government policy somehow?
