I liked the first one a lot better. This one didn’t get good til like 2/3 of the way. Then it blew up and it was awesome but took way too long to get there.

The book takes place much later than the first one which I was suprised at. The way the first book ended I thought we were going to go chronologically through the women that she helps. I liked this sequel to book 1, but I must say I did like the first book better. This one had a creep factor and twists and turns that I definitely was not expecting. Millie is a housecleaner/housemaid who has a prison history and has recently gotten out after serving 10 years. Her boyfriend, Brock, doesn't know about her history. She gets "lucky" when she is hired by Douglas Garrick who is flithy rich and offers her the things she really needs. But his wife is said to be sick and in her room all ...more

This was not as good as the first installment of this series. It dragged for the first 1/3 of the book, but I hung in there and thankfully things picked up throughout the rest of the book. The author does a great job of keeping you on an unpredictable rollercoaster ride and I enjoyed the ending.
