I’m not sure what I was expecting when going into this book, but whew, that was quite a ride!

I enjoyed exploring the different islands/locations while our cast looked for answers to many questions. We learn a lot about the cultures and the people (or dragons) that live in each of the locations. Violet is looking for allies to fight Venins, cure for Xaden and Andarna’s family. No story twists, no character archs, nothing.

It could have been told in one chapter, or less.

This book is just writte

I am a part of the “I’m no ok” club. The world, the characters, the emotions… and the cliffhanger. (In a GMA interview she said she loves cliffhangers.)
