Such an interesting story and narrated beautifully. Some non -fiction books can be quite dry, but the writing in this one keeps the reader engaged.
I am glad one of my 400 book clubs picked this book; my only problem now is that I want to punch people!

This was the March bookclub pick for my Tuesday morning bookclub. It’s definitely a story that needs to be told and I can’t believe I was unfamiliar with it. I’m glad I read the book. It was a little hard to follow at times with added unrelated random information. The random information could have been kept since it did add to the story but it could have been better chronicled. I had both the audio and the book from the library. Even thought the narrators were good, I found I liked r ...more
