Holy crossover kingdom, Batman. We’ve reached the point of Crescent City where you have to have read ACOTAR first for half of it to make sense.
This was a lot more action packed than most of her other books, probably because of that giant cliff hanger of the last book that left it setup for epic things to happen. YUCK okay WHY (spoilers but also not really because all your predictions are probably right anyway)
So I really like obsessively LOVED the first 1/3 of this book, but it was all downhill from there. Honestly the first third of the book was 5 stars on its own. It was incredible to see the CC world and ACOTAR world collide. The two stories and the two worlds spun together so intricately, like nothing I've ever read before. And then, Bryce leaves.
