The epistolary theme drew me to this book and I loved the way it was woven in with the fantasy world where two Gods are at war with each other and humans are the casualties.
Iris and Roman start off as rivals for the same position at the newspaper they both work for. The connection they share outside of this rivalry is very much in contrast. What an exceptional read! Even though this was fantasy, it felt so real. Like reading a historical fiction but with magical aspects.

I am always a sucker for romance involving letter exchange. It is a wonderful book with endearing characters and an interesting plot.
