Every Heart a Doorway
was an unexpectedly pleasant book.
It took me a few days to actually get a hold of this story but I enjoyed it at the end. I liked how fast everything happened but at the same the author keeps throwing terms so fast so I was confused and had to re-read some paragraphs (or maybe is because I'm a slow reader). I knew what was going to happen but I was surprised with the ending, it was so damn cool.

Every Heart a Doorway was an absolutely magnificent read with an amazing story and a fantastic group of characters.

No Solicitations
No Visitors
No Quests
Children have always disappeared under the right conditions; slipping through the shadows under a bed or at the back of a wardrobe, tumbling down rabbit holes and into old wells, and emerging somewhere... else.
But magical lands have little need for used-up miracle children.
Nancy tumbled once, but now she’s back. The things she’s experienced... they change a person. The children under Miss West’s care understand all too

Rating: At least a 4, I think I'll give it a 4.5 but I wouldn't exclude a 5, just not have made my mind up about the completely yet
This is the first book in Wayward Children series. Its short and sweet. It could be longer for me but I'm sure the sequels will make up for that. I found the concept very interesting, the story interesting, the characters interesting. Very whimsical in my opinion and also very well writt ...more

...more

I wasn't a fan of this book. I understand the appeal I guess but it just wasn't for me.
