"Stop worrying about society and playing its game, hoping that you'll be good enough."

What an amazing book! Adalyn Grace did a fantastic job of creating a gothic atmosphere and crafting a truly gripping mystery that had me guessing the entire time. Anytime I had to put the book down ruined my day. I just wanted to stay wrapped in this beautiful world Adalyn Grace created.

i kid you not, this book took me almost 2 weeks to finish? why? cause it’s super boring. the little hope of „oh this will get better once the mystery is solved“ is the only thing that kept me going. the plot twist was … okay i guess? not the most amazing thing ever but i’m satisfied with it. however, like i said, it’s so boring for most of the book. it’s over 400 pages that could have been edited down to 300. i will not continue the series cause my time is too precious for that.
