this story follows sadie and sam, who met as teens and find each other again when they’re older. they end up designing successful video games together, which may seem fun, but they run into conflict along the way.
first, i really appreciated how sadie and sam remained just friends throughout the novel. though their relationship certainly wasn’t perfect, and they weren’t always on speaking terms, i thought it was sweet how they always returned to each other in the end.

I went into this book completely blind, so I didn't even know it was about video games until I started reading. This is a book that isn't like any other book I've read before. It was very interesting and especially kept me reading about halfway through. I enjoyed reading Sadie and Sam's story, and liked both of their characters. I can see why this book as a lot of hype because it was an enjoyable read that kept me wondering what would happen next. I do recommend this one, especially if you enjoy

Terrible and Terrible and Terrible. I listened to most of it and the narration was terrible as well except for the chapter that was narrated by Marx. I hate political books which I had no idea going in it would hit on every single hot button issue out there. Not in a nonpartisan way either and it so absurd it was like a caricature of said issues.
