I wanted something that would make me cry today, so I'm back in the Colleen Hoover books. Maybe it's just me, but I much prefer the YA and NA books by her. The adult ones seem to be a constant drain instead of those key scenes that rip your heart out. The slow stomps are killer.
This wasn't so much sad as it was depressing, and mentally draining. And I know they're not coping, but dammit guys, have a single conversation with each other.
