cw (some mentioned in review): cheating, self harm, infertility, miscarriage
quinn and graham didn’t meet in a conventional way—they met as their significant others were actively cheating on them—but months later, they find each other again and decide to pursue a relationship. this story is told during two different times: when they first met and when they’ve been married for seven years.

Although the topic of infertility was difficult to listen to, I really enjoyed this book. I liked getting to know Quinn and reading the “then” and “now” moments. My heart broke at least twice during this book and it’s been a while since characters have affected me so quickly. Definitely recommend this one!
Going into this book, I thought it would be another typical romance novel. You would think by now, I would realise that Colleen Hoover's books aren't just typical romances. This freaking book hurt me so much. So many emotions and hurt in this story. I really felt for Graham and Quinn during their struggles with infertility and communication with each other. My heart broke so many times reading this.

This was the first CoHo book I listened to vs. reading and I probably would have liked it more if I had read it instead. I mean, if I was rating it based on the narrator I would give it 1 star. I listen to a lot of audio books and Julia Whelan is the best but unfortunately, this lady was the worst I’ve heard. She made Graham sound like he was slow. It was just bad. Really bad. I didn’t let that affect my rating though. The book is good. Read the boom but avoid the audiobook 💯!
