I love fairytale retellings and this one is definitely a new spin. Zinnia is a fairytale fanatic. She's spent her life knowing she most likely going to die young, and at the time of this story it's getting close to the end of her life expectancy.

While out with her friend Charm she ends up pricking her finger and wakes up in a Sleeping Beauty's world.

Of course, she tries to figure out how to break the 'curse' for them both. Things definitely don't go as expected.

I loved this! Harrow does a fantastic job with this reimagined and fractured fairy tale about Sleeping Beauty. The narrative and the characters are incredibly entertaining and I had a wonderful time reading. The story is very short, but still packs a great punch and really explores the topic and the original tale.

The writing definitely has a YA flavor to it and the story is told fairly flippantly, but that totally worked for me. There is a bit of a Marissa Meyer feel to the construction and I r ...more

OH MY GOD!!!! What a waste of time and such a stupid book & story....How can this be Goodreads top 20 fantasy novel?????

Who the hell voted for this sh*t!!!

Please stay away from reading this stupid pretend novel......there's no story....yes author could write....so she spewed some words and turned it into novel!!! ...more
