This just wasn't quite the same as the first one. Well of course it wasn't. But I really wanted to love it as much as I did the first one and was super excited to read it. It wasn't bad by any means, but it just wasn't the same. I got so invested in the characters from the first novel that I was irritated that I did have more of THEM! Phoebe, Knox and Maeve were just fine, but they weren't the original Bayview four.

I own this book.

One of Us is Lying was one of my top books of 2020, so thus I was excited to get to this book. However, I can't say I'm impressed. This book is set roughly a year after the events of the first book and follows Bromwyn's younger sister and other kids from Bayview High. Olipas taas jännittävä ja mielenkiintoinen tarina tältä kirjailijalta. Toki taaskin epäilin kaikkia syyllisiksi mutta tapahtumien kulkua en osannut oikeastaan ennakoida. Kirja oli myös ennalta odottamaton ja vaikka kirjoitustyylissä oli samankaltaisuuksia niin tarina ja toteutustapa oli kuitenkin kokonaan eri kuin kirjailijan ensimmäisessä kirjassa.
